It started with a trinket. I received a small glass camera from a friend as a gift, with a note. I don't remember the exact words of the note, but it was something to the effect of keeping my dream alive. I loved this little glass camera, that sat on a mirror. It was and still is one of my most treasured gifts. It made several military moves with us, from state to state. Once unpacked, it would move from one spot to another around the house. It was always my small reminder, that someday, I would be a "real" photographer.
My hope is that I am able to capture unique memories for each family I meet. I want them to remember that contagious giggle, or serious smirk, or that funny face their child makes that no other child in the world can duplicate. I want to document your child, in their world. I am not good at posing people, and telling them what to do, and honestly, it just doesn't feel natural to me. I want you to be who you are. I want to capture the pure bliss of your family being together and sharing a moment with each other. I hope that my photos show personality, and speak to people who look at them. It may draw the same reaction for everyone, and I hope it's doesn't. I strive to make my photos stand out, from anything else you see. My ultimate wish is that you have a wonderful time creating memories that will last a lifetime.
